Operational risk in banks is as old as Banking itself. The sweeping technology revolution and ever-increasing innovation in product and service offerings of Banks has also resulted in escalation of threat of operational risk losses manifold. The recent fraud events through misuse of Bank involving substantial loss to the Banking system has brought the inadequacies of the operational risk management in Banks to sharp focus. Banks have recognized the need to educate and sensitize the employees from time to time on the aspects of preventive vigilance, adhering to the laid down systems and procedures and adopting the industry best practices for better management of operational risks and minimizing the losses on account of frauds. This program is developed keeping in view the above objectives. The program is delivered through discussions and live examples drawn from Indian and global banking incidents..
